- If property has not received rehabilitation assistance
from the City of Miami Beach within the last 5 year
- Property needs repairs to meet the decent, safe and sanitary

How it works:
1. Repairs must include rehabilitation to bring the property
up to all applicable local building codes and housing standards.
2. May correct potential violations of code including all
physical conditions of the property which, if not repaired,
would in all likelihood deteriorate with in two years to the
point where local building codes and housing standards would
be violated.
3. Funding includes the cost of building permits, related
fees and appraisals required to carry out the proposed rehabilitation.
4. Participants may receive up to $15,000 in City of Miami
Beach Community Development Block Grant funding.
5. All homes that receive assistance under this program will
have a five year lien placed on the property by the City of
Miami Beach for the actual cost of rehabilitation and every
year, the amount of the lien will be reduced by 20% and to
