The rehabilitation of historic 542 Jefferson Avenue was developed by MBCDC for low-income elderly, one of the most displaced groups in South Beach over the last several years.

Various community organizations provide services to the tenants, including meals, transportation, social services, and healthcare.

The City of Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, Florida Community Loan Fund, and SunTrust Bank financed this project. The Miami Beach Housing Authority is a co-management partner with MBCDC.
